Venesa Buen is a Curriculum Design Consultant at the MI Institute for Financial Empowerment (MIFE). She is an educator with over 18 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development across private and public education in the Philippines. She currently serves as a Junior High School Values Education teacher under the Department of Education (Philippines) and is a textbook author for GMRC and Values Education. She has also worked as a learning material writer, editor, and curriculum writer for DepEd regional and central offices, and has developed curriculum across diverse subject areas including financial education for institutions locally and internationally.

She holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Religious Education from Don Bosco College Canlubang and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Educational Management and Supervision (Values Education) at Western Colleges Inc.

Grounded in a research-based, learner-centered, and values-driven approach, Ms. Buen is passionate about designing meaningful learning experiences that strengthen character, empower communities, and support lifelong learning.
